I spoke with 5 different contractors before hiring Affordable Contracting, and one of the things I specifically requested was a detailed break-down of everything that was going to happen and their prices. He was the only contractor who provided me with all of that information. In addition to that, when he brought me the breakdown of the details, he included a couple of items that I hadn’t considered. For example, I have a fenced-in backyard. Part of it needed to be pulled to get the excavation equipment in and it would need to be replaced. He also added the cost of landscaping to repair the yard after the excavation equipment is brought in. He was very thorough with us in helping us consider everything and providing suggestions for things we hadn’t thought of.

Jesse kept us informed every step of the way. I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of the products. Every man on the job was completely professional. I can’t say enough good things about Jesse and the work he did for us. Jesse has also been working with the insurance company that makes it much easier for the homeowner.”

The estimate was itemized so I understood exactly what each portion of the job would cost me. Jesse is a certified GAF shingles installer which translates to a shingles warranty that surpasses any other brand of shingles that I researched. Given that my last roof only lasted 14 years, the warranty was important to me. Once I signed a contract the roof etc. was installed within approximately 2 weeks.

Installation of everything went like clock work. The roofing crew was at my home the morning as promised, removed the old shingles and all of the old felt, and installed the new roof and ridge cap in less than a day. Someone came and replaced my fascia later that day and the following morning a crew was here to replace the gutters, downspouts, and gutter covers.

The crews were awesome; extremely hard working, respectful, and courteous. Drop clothes were placed around the house to collect any debris and they swept the yard for nails. When they left, you would have never known the roof was removed. Also, Jesse came near the end of the roof install to make sure everything went as planned.

I am extremely happy that I went with Affordable Contracting for my recent home improvements and would use them again without hesitation. A number of my neighbors had also commented to me about how impressed they were with the installation crews and their work ethic.”

The owner, Jesse Clark came out the next day and had a quote to me by that very evening. He was very professional, and I had no reservations about hiring him to do the job. The crew that came completed the roof in one day and was very respectful of our home and property. I was worried about the mess of stripping off all the old shingles, but they put out numerous tarps to catch all the debris and protect our landscaping and deck. In addition, the crew walked the perimeter of the house many times to pick up any stray roofing pieces.

Overall, I was pleased not only with the quality of work that was done, but my whole experience in working with Affordable Contracting Services. I would definitely hire them again for any future work I might need.”

But more importantly, Jesse listened to my concerns and offered answers to what was wrong with the old siding AND offered suggestions to update my home such as adding “shake” to accent the garage peak that the other contractors did not. Together we discussed quality of materials and came up with an excellent product choice and color. Within two weeks he and his crew were there to install the siding and it took only 4 days. The gutter was done the next week. They removed all the old materials and when they left you would not know they were ever there.

I love my new home! It looks so good I decided to add a new front door and have asked Jesse to order and install that as well. I am definitely glad I chose Affordable Contracting Services and would highly recommend them for any siding job.”

When he saw my roof and the adjustor gave him the verbal that my roof was going to be bought, he knew my roof was in horrible shape, he had building materials on site with-in a few days and a crew on my roof the next week. The crew was amazing! The one thing I liked about what I saw happening is there systematic method. They communicated extremely well, with people coming and going, picking things up and dropping off material that they weren’t aware of was damaged the same day. When I got home that night my roof was finished! I was extremely happy!

My siding was put on a few months later with 3/4’s of my windows that needed replacing. I was worried about the window process as it was in December, but they had anothere systematic method again and the crew got it done with hardly any heat loss! The crew for Affordable Contracting was very professional and the best part friendly and easy to talk to. They truly wanted me to be happy with their work! That was extremely important to me and believe me they went out of there way a few times for me. I would definately suggest them to anyone of my friends.

Overall I think my job was done in a timely manner. My roof was done in one day and my siding took a week. They cleaned up after themself’s everyday and always told me what to expect the next day. Overall I think it went great.”

“Our house was damaged by a hail storm that came through our city last year. We needed new siding, a new roof and new gutters. We called Affordable Contracting Services to come out and look at the damage. We had a good first impression of them and didn’t even think twice about talking to any other contractors to look at the job.
